
The e-office initiative will also have mechanism to track the file movement and will idenitfy the delays which usually occur due to officials’ complacency as well as corruption. In the first phase, the e-initiative will be implemented in 12 departments from December 20th. Apart from the CMO and CS office, all welfare departments including SC, ST, BC, women and child as well as housing, IT, finance, law and agriculture departments will be modernized into e-offices. Also this system will eliminate the word ‘missing files’ from the administration and all the files and records will be available at a mouse click.
A massive training campaign is already on for the officials of these department to make them fully aware of the softwares that are going to be used. Once the initiative is running successfully, it will be later expanded to the other 29 departments of the state government. Advanced systems were procurred for this initiative so that they run with out any technical issues.
