According the government now plans to interlink Vamsadhara and Nagavali rivers. Both the rivers flow through Srikakulam and then end up in Bay of Bengal. But water from Vamsadhara is not utilized properly.
If the water going to sea can be diverted by interlinking of both the rivers, water problem for crops in Srikakulam will be solved forever. Naidu seem to be concentrating on the backward areas of the state. He did extensive good for Rayalaseema with Pattiseema and now Uttarandhra with this project.
