NTR Trust managing trustee Nara Bhuwaneshwari toured Nimmakuru in Krishna district on Friday. During her visit, she laid foundation stones for several development works aimed at improving facilities in nearby villages.
She performed the ground breaking ceremony for a 30 bed hospital to be built with NABARD support at a cost of Rs 6 crore. She also laid the foundation stone for a boys hostel estimated to cost Rs 3.5 crore.
Addressing the gathering, Bhuwaneshwari said students should be prepared to lead society and the nation. She stressed that children must learn to set clear goals for themselves before completing school education.
Recalling her childhood, Bhuwaneshwari said she used to visit Nimmakuru during summer vacations. She shared memories of travelling to Pamarru by RTC bus to watch movies, which drew a warm response from the audience.
She said several welfare and development initiatives are being carried out through NTR Trust. Bhuwaneshwari assured locals that she would convey their needs to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and the district collector.
Bhuwaneshwari’s emotional bond with Nimmakuru is well known, as it is the native village of her late father N T Rama Rao. She plays an active role in the development vision shaped by Chandrababu and her son Nara Lokesh.
After Chandrababu returned to power in 2024, Bhuwaneshwari has taken on greater public responsibility. Her work through hospitals and educational initiatives reflects a focus on sectors that directly impact common citizens.
