Narendra Modi has special affection for Andhra Pradesh and Amaravati. He recently came to Vizag and started the Railway zone and promised funds for projects. In Amaravati, he is not just giving funds, but also starting projects.
Lokesh said that they were sent away from combined Andhra Pradesh with just clothes. We didn’t know where to start governance. But Babu with his conviction and perseverance took people’s opinion and decided on Amaravati as the capital. The sacrifice of Amaravati farmers is laudable, said Lokesh amidst whistles.

CBN’s vision is to have a single capital with decentralization of development. Rayalaseema has been developed into an electronics, automotive and renewable energy hub. In Godavari, we developed aqua industry, IT and pharma in Uttarandhra.
However between 2019 and 2024, not a single brick was laid for the capital, though they promised three capitals. We have seen people coming out to stage dharnas for a capital.
Farmers were harassed for saying Jai Amaravati. Women farmers were kicked with police boots. They were called paid artists. The protest went on for 1631 days, farmers were arrested. But no one could stop people’s dream. No one could stop the Amaravati which was started by Namo.
Namo is going to relaunch Amaravati. Amaravati is unstoppable. Polavaram, Bhogavaram airport, Vizag Steel Plant, CBG plant in Prakasam, Kurnool High Court Bench… several development projects will come up. 5 lakh jobs were created so far, we announced mega DSE notification. We are working to provide 20 lakh jobs in the coming 5 years.
Right now the state is on a double power engine, on one side is Namo, on the other side is CBN. Jai Amaravati, Jai Andhra Pradesh, Jai Namo, Jai Chandrababu, Lokesh raised slogans before concluding his speech.
