Telangana High Court imposed a Stay on the release of Ram Gopal Varma’s Propaganda film, Vyooham. Prima Facie the court felt that the movie is a propaganda tool with defaming content and is likely to influence Andhra Pradesh elections.
The next hearing of the film is posted on January 11th.
Before that, he got a stay from the Civil Court imposing a Stay on the release of the movie on any OTT platform or the internet.
Thus, doors are closed for Ram Gopal Varma at least for now to release the film.
Ram Gopal Varma made similar propaganda films like Lakshmi’s NTR and Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu before the 2019 elections.
Chandrababu Naidu has a different mindset. He thinks stopping such films will only give them more visibility. So, he did not mind stopping them and they have become a small part of the YSR Congress’s propaganda campaign against TDP before 2019.
Even though everyone knows no one takes Ram Gopal Varma or his films seriously, Lokesh deployed the ‘Chinna Paamunaina Pedda Karratho kattali’ policy and dealt the issue with precision.
In this age of cut-throat politics, Lokesh’s politics is more appropriate than CBN’s politics.
