
IT Minister Nara Lokesh has said that despite many questions, they were going ahead with changes in the education system. He announced that from the next academic year, the toppers from government schools will be put in newspapers just like in private schools.
Lokesh was speaking after felicitating 47 toppers calling them ‘shining stars’, at his Undavalli residence. He gave away inspirational books and medals on the occasion.

The reforms we started in the education sector will end towards the end of June. Magic will happen in the education sector, he said.
Students must strive for excellence continuously and take AP CM Chandrababu as inspiration, said Lokesh on the occasion.

I chose the education sector requesting the CM, as it was challenging. I chose to contest from Mangalagiri, where TDP never won since 1984. Students must realize there is no alternative to hardwork, said the Minister.
I decided during padayatra to tweak the education system to provide more opportunities for girls. We will do everything to ensure those in government schools get best education, assured Lokesh.

Dream wall, gratitude wall and values wall were put up for students to write their dreams as a part of the programme. The programme saw various officials from education department participating.
