
Minister Nara Lokesh visited the family of slain TDP leader Veeraiah Chowdhary. MPP Chowdhary was murdered recently in Ongole.
Lokesh visited the house of Chowdhary at Ammanabrolu village in Nagulappalapadu district in Prakasam district. He garlands the photo of Chowdhary and paid his respects. He later spoke to Chowdhary’s wife, son and other family members. Lokesh remembered his association with Chowdhary.

During Yuva Galam, Veeraiah Chowdhary walked with him, reminisced Lokesh. He said it was indeed sad that a man who worked tirelessly for the party was murdered in such a brutal manner.
Lokesh promised that strict measures will be taken against the killers. He extended his support to the family of Veeraiah Chowdhary. Lokesh was accompanied by other minister and MLAs.

Three weeks after Chowdhary was killed, nine accused in the murder have been caught. Seven mobile phones, three knives and a bag was taken from them. Three more are absconding. The police also found two wheelers left behind by murderers.
According to the police, accused Sambasiva Rao and Muppa Suresh were working along with MPP Veeraiah Chowdhary. However, they turned against him due to village issues. This led to power struggle and eventually led to the murder of Chowdhary.
