Back then, BJP supporters argued that Runa Mafi is a hindrance to the state economy and Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a sane politician who is economically vigilant will not allow that to happen. But then all those big talks have disappeared in the air. BJP is trying to win Uttar Pradesh elections by any means.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is the star campaigner for BJP in UP has promised to waive off the farm loans if BJP comes to Power in the biggest state of the country. That proves Modi is talking like every other ordinary politician and all he does is for political gain.

It is just that Modi does not want to help his ally Chandrababu Naidu by helping Runa Mafi or else is lying to the farmers of Uttar Pradesh and the promise will be forgotten after the elections just like how Special Status Promise of AP is completely forgotten.
