Modi’s Team: One More Cabinet Berth For Telangana?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to expand his cabinet later this month and before the budget session of the Parliament.

Sources tell us that the states that are going for elections in 2023 will be given importance in this cabinet rejig.

Jammu, Kashmir, Telangana, and North-East states like Meghalaya, Tripura, and Mizoram are going to elections this year. They will be accommodated in this expansion.

Kishan Reddy is the sole representation of Telangana in Modi’s team. BJP is snipping a chance for the first time in the state.

The party is giving importance to Hyderabad by conducting its party’s key meetings in recent times.

Soyam Bapurao may get a chance in the Tribal quota or Dr. Lakshman may get a chance in BC and Kapu quota if the BJP wants to lure those sections.

Bandi Sanjay’s term as the Party President is also nearing completion but he is likely to be continued in the wake of elections.
