Massive Encounter on Hyderabad Outskirts

Telangana Police has successfully carried out a massive encounter to eliminate Nayeemuddin who is the accused in 100s of cases and instrumental in several murders. Police have got an information that he is in a house at Shadnagar, Mahabubnagar district and attacked him with a clear plan.

When Nayeem started firing at the Police, they have resorted to counter fire and in that, Nayoom and another person is said to have got killed. Elite anti-Maoist Greyhounds were also involved in the operation. Nayeem was earlier arrested by the police in 2007. However, he escaped after a court appearance tricking the police team.

Nayeem also operates Maoist outfits like Nallamala Cobras and Kakatiya Cobras, which claimed responsibility for the killing of several civil rights activists in 2005. Incidentally, the encounter in the outskirts of Hyderabad took place a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the state for the first time.
