New BJP President Wants Thirteen Capitals for AP

BJP High command has elevated Somu Veerraju as the President of its Andhra Pradesh Unit. Somu earlier supported the three capitals idea of Jagan’s Government and this appointment may be an indication about things to come.

In a TV interview, he made interesting comments when asked about it. “We already vouched for the interests of Amaravati farmers. BJP is always for the decentralization of the Development. Not three capitals or four capitals, we want every district to be a capital,” he said in a confusing manner.

He made these comments when asked if the Central Government will intervene to stop the three capitals. “All the thirteen districts got betrayed due to the sole concentration on Hyderabad. So, every district deserves development. This is the intention of the Central Government as well,” he added.

Is Somu Veerraju trying to confuse the people? or Did he indirectly vouch for three capitals?
