New Districts To Bring in 10456 Cr Cash for Telangana

Telangana government is eyeing big cash with the real boom that has occured due to the creation of new districts. The government which until now is minting money from the auction of land parcels in Hyderabad and Ranga Reddy districts, is now eyeing the land parcels in other districts as well. The government has identified 7900 acres in all the district and is planning to put them auction very soon.

The state government is expecting that 10456 Crore will emerge in its coffers due to this deal. Initially there was poor response to the land auction and the government could not earn even Rs 500 crore through sale of land parcels in Hyderabad and RR districts. But then the land prices in the proposed district headquarters witnessed a steep rise due to the new districts.

ISIIC will put up prime lands close to new district headquarters for sale after Dussehra once the new districts are created. All sub registrar offices are witnessing increased property transactions since May this year. This money will come to the rescue of the Telangana Government which is facing a cash crunch for various schemes it started recently.
