The process of nominations in Telangana is over. The officials will examine the nominations on the 13th of this month. The deadline for withdrawal of nominations has been fixed till the 15th of this month.
Polling will be held simultaneously in 119 constituencies on the 30th of this month. Election results will be announced on December 3. This time TDP and YSRTP withdrew from the contest. YSRTP officially supported Congress. The CPI entered the fray from Kothagudem in alliance with Congress. CPM is contesting alone.
More than 2,500 nominations have been filed in 119 constituencies. Most nominations were made in the Gajwel and Medchal constituencies. Fifty nominations were made in Gazwel and thirty in Medchal.
Congress candidates filed nominations in 117 seats. Congress allotted one seat to the CPI.
Compared to the past, this time rebels’ problem has been reduced for Congress. Except for one or two seats, there is no problem of Rebels anywhere. There is a chance that there will be single candidates from Congress by the time of withdrawal of nominations.
