Old Habits Die Hard for Jagan

TRS Working President K Taraka Ramarao met Andhra Pradesh Opposition Leader, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy the other day at the latter’s Lotus Pond Residence and invited him to join the Federal Front. The previous night of the Meeting, Media was informed about the meeting by Telangana CMO.

This meeting came as a surprise not only for the media but also to the leaders of YSR Congress Party. Jagan who was previously accused of not discussing things within the party before taking key decisions did the same this time also. This Meeting came a surprise for the party leaders as well.

TDP launched an allout attack on YSR Congress terming the friendship as anti-andhra. YSR Congress Media Spokespersons struggled to defend the party stance giving contrasting statements about the friendship. It is clear that the issue is not discussed in the party and they did not decide on a common line.

This autocratic attitude of Jagan confined him to Opposition for five years. But then things did not change much even after that. If this Federal Front issue backfires it has the potential to emerge as the Biggest Self goal for Jagan with elections just three months away. If not handled may land Jagan in Opposition for another five years.
