Only Two Wickets Botsa Satyanarayana and Peddireddy Rama Chandra Reddy Left

The Recent Election Drubbing left the YSR Congress on a Ventilator. The Party Rajya Sabha MPs left one after the other ringing danger bells.

A loyalist, founding member, and Number Two Vijayasai Reddy leaving the party is a death blow. It sends an indication that there is no future for the party and the morale of the party leaders and cadres will be hit really hard.

Many believe that Vijayasai Reddy left the party because of the Kakinada Port & SEZ case.

If that is true, next in the line will be YV Subba Reddy. His son, Vikranth Reddy is A-1 in this case.

That leaves the party with two strongmen – Botsa Satyanarayana and Peddireddy Rama Chandra Reddy.

After the election defeat, Botsa was made the MLC (in local bodies quota) and was elevated as the Leader of the Opposition in the Council to satisfy him.

Peddireddy was almost defeated in the last elections. He just scrapped through with a minor vote difference.

He troubled TDP a lot in the last term and even vowed to defeat Chandrababu Naidu in Kuppam.

Difficult times await him in the next five years. If he pulls out of YSR Congress the party will be finished in Rayalaseema.

If Botsa pulls out, the party will get weakened in Uttarandhra.

In 34 seats in Uttarandhra, YSR Congress was able to win only two. And in the 52 seats of Rayalaseema, the party is reduced to just seven.

If both these leaders leave the party, it will be almost finished.
