Indian armed forces have carried out Operation Sindoor, targeting multiple locations across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK) on the early hours of Today.
All nine sites, used to plan cross-border strikes, were successfully destroyed, without Indian forces crossing into Pakistani airspace, a fact even acknowledged by Pakistan.
India also carefully chose only Terrorist Training Camps for these strikes and avoided civilian, economic, and military targets.
Two senior woman officers Colonel Sophia Qureshi of the Indian Army and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh of the Indian Air Force, were at the helm of ‘Operation Sindoor’ media briefing along side Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri.
India has delivered amazing messages to the world by having two senior women officials for the briefing.
There are reports that Terrorists in Pahalgam killed the husband of a woman and told her ‘Modi Ko Bata Dena’, which means ‘Tell Modi’.
The reply has been sent in a language they understand through the woman.
Also, the Senior Women Officials were of two different faiths – Sikh and Muslim.
Both of them are Minorities in India.
It is known that Minorities are under threat in Pakistan.
The Modi Government sent in a message that Minorities and Minority Women are progressing in the country.
And there is also a message that people are united irrespective of religion in this moment of crisis.
Towards the end of the Media Briefing, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh also warned Pakistan.
“It must be said Indian Armed Forces are fully prepared to respond to Pakistani Misadventures, if any, will escalate (to war) this situation”, she said.
Meanwhile, the United Nations Security Council has discussed rising tensions between India and Pakistan.
The UNSC spoke to the envoys of both countries and called for de-escalation and dialogue.
However, the Security Council did not issue a statement after the meeting.
