When the matter was brought to the notice of Minister Nara Lokesh, he immediately took action and made the necessary arrangements.
If one goes into details, a woman named Cherukuri Sushma joined Ramesh Hospitals with severe health conditions. She was later declared brain dead.
Knowing of this, her family members came forward for organ donation. The hospital staff requested the Minister to make necessary arrangements to provide organs for the needy.
Responding to the situation, Nara Lokesh saw to it that the heart of the dead lady would be flown in a private plane at his own cost.
Lokesh also spoke to the necessary officials to create a green channel to the Tirupati hospital, where the heart was to be transplanted.
The family of the brain dead lady and staff of Ramesh Hospitals thanked Minister Nara Lokesh.
