Pawan Kalyan and Nara Lokesh faced setbacks in their maiden elections and registered sensational victories in 2024.
Pawan Kalyan won from Pithapuram with a majority of 70,279 votes, while Lokesh won from Mangalagiri with a record majority of 91,413 votes.

There is extreme scrutiny on both the constituencies and the leaders about how they conduct themselves there.
Lokesh’s Mangalagiri is very calm, but there is continuous friction between the TDP and Janasena in Pithapuram. In fact, no other constituency has hogged the limelight for all sorts of wrong reasons like Pithapuram.

TDP Incharge SVSN Varma sacrificed the Pithapuram seat for Pawan Kalyan. He was promised an MLC seat in the first list. But his name did not figure in the first two lists.
There were rumors that Pawan Kalyan fears that Varma’s elevation will create another Power Center in Pithapuram and so is blocking him. And Chandrababu Naidu has obliged.

There are all attempts to decimate Varma in the constituency, and Naga Babu, who became an MLC, is spearheading those efforts.
Varma and his group are feeling suffocated, but they are not staying silent.
Meanwhile, there is an entirely different situation in Mangalagiri.
Chillapalli Srinivasa Rao is the Janasena in-charge in Mangalagiri, and Lokesh is giving utmost importance to him in everything related to the constituency.
He is a part of every official program of the constituency, unlike in Pithapuram.
Recently, Nara Lokesh revealed how he talks to Chillapalli at least once in two weeks on various issues pertaining to the constituency and the coordination between both parties.
He was also given a plum-nominated post as the Chairman of Andhra Pradesh Medical Services and Infrastructure Development Corporation.
Nara Lokesh has promised a 100-bed Government Hospital in Mangalagiri. He is laying the foundation stone for the hospital on the 13th of this month. He entrusted the complete responsibility of the Hospital to Chillapalli.
That is how he is taking along Janasena as well in the constituency.
Celebrities do not find time for their constituencies. They often have a leader in there to take care of electioneering.
Chandrababu and Jagan barely visit their constituencies. Their men take care of everything.
Varma did that single-handedly in 2024.
Pawan Kalyan is a Minister now, and it becomes even more difficult for him to concentrate on the constituency.
There may be Janasena leaders in the constituency and the district, but they are not capable of handling it.
If Varma had been duly respected by being him an MLC, he would have become a Janasena loyalist and would have taken care of everything in Pawan Kalyan’s absence.
Now, by disrespecting and disappointing him, Pawan Kalyan is only creating an unnecessary mess for himself in Pithapuram.
On the other hand, Lokesh does not need such help in electioneering because there is a well-oiled machinery for TDP in every constituency.
Lokesh has the entire ecosystem behind him, but Varma can become a huge threat in Pithapuram if he joins YSR Congress.
Even then, Lokesh is taking the Janasena Incharge into confidence in every small thing.
That is how it should be done, and Pawan Kalyan needs to learn that from Lokesh.
