At times, politicians too make way for some light moments. Presently, the situation is such in Telangana. The Telangana Congress harped about phone tapping for over a year.
After SIT examinations and lots of media news, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy simply closed the subject by saying phone tapping is not illegal. He added that his government too indulged in it.
Ever since Revanth Reddy said it, the BRS has become active. It’s leaders are holding press meets about Revanth Reddy tapping the phones of his ministers.
In fact, BRS leader RS Praveen went to the extent of saying that Revanth Reddy was tapping the phones of all his ministers. The funny part was when Praveen said that the BRS leaders in Telangana Bhavan had to help Congress leaders in Gandhi Bhavan. He alleged that the CM was mainly focused on 4 ministers.
And a media outfit had reported that he (CM) tapped the phones of 2 Reddy ministers recently, said Praveen. Praveen also said that the CM called one of the ministers and counselled him.
Praveen also went a step further. He went to the SIT office in Jubilee Hills and asked the officials to start an inquiry on the phone tapping matter. Speaking near the SIT office, Praveen said that the ministers must be called to SIT office and their phones must be checked.
He alleged that CM was using dark web tools to tap into phones of his ministers and opposition leaders.
Obviously, the citizens of Telangana are amused by the turn of events!
