After being arrested in connection with the Sandhya Theatre stampede issue, Allu Arjun was released from the Chanchalguda Central Jail earlier this morning.
Though the High Court granted him interim bail last evening, the jail officials said they wouldn’t release Allu Arjun as the bail orders hadn’t been uploaded. Late in the night, the officials confirmed that Arjun would only be released this morning.
During his release earlier today, a huge number of fans and media gathered in front of the Chanchalguda jail. Consequently, the police personnel released Arjun through the back gate.
A picture of Allu Arjun exiting the jail from the back gate has now surfaced on social media. Reportedly, Allu Arjun was placed in the Manjeera Barrack of the jail last night.
After being released from jail, Allu Arjun went to his office first and addressed the media. He thanked everyone for their love and support during these tough times. He stated that he would abide by the law and cooperate with the police.
He mentioned that the incident at Sandhya Theatre was unfortunate and conveyed his condolences to the grieving family. He also added that he would support the family in whatever way he could.
Later, he went back home and became emotional while meeting his family members. Currently, various friends and industry celebrities are visiting Allu Arjun’s residence to meet him.
