PM’s Amaravati Tour: Schedule Finalised

The schedule for restarting the works of capital Amaravati has been finalised. Prime Minister Modi will be breaking ground at 4 pm on May 2. For the event, the AP government has finalised the land behind the Secretariat.

The restarting will happen from here. People are being mobilised from combined Guntur, Krishna, Prakasam and West Godavari to attending the meeting.

A committee comprising ministers has been set up to oversee the preparations. The security arrangements are being made by SPG.

Meanwhile, government’s chief secretary K Vijayanand and tour’s nodal officer Veerapandyan have issued directives to officials that preparations for 5 lakh people should be made. They asked them to identify 9 main routes for prominent figures to reach the place.

They directed the officials that no problems must arise for the vehicular movement on these roads.

It is known that the government intends to complete the world-class capital Amaravati in three years. Prime Minister Modi and his government has been extending all possible support for Amaravati to speed up the process.
