Positive Sign for India Regarding Corona Vaccine Availability

Serum Institute of India (SII), one of the Pioneer Vaccine manufacturing companies in India is also the largest Vaccine manufacturing company across the globe. The company already is in agreement with Oxford COVID Vaccine which is currently at the advanced stage among all the vaccines.

SII also signed an agreement with another American vaccine development company, Novavax for the development and supply of its COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccine in the Second Phase of Human Trials and is likely to be available by the end of 2020.

Meanwhile, SII also entered into a new landmark partnership with Gavi, The Vaccine Alliance, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, to accelerate the manufacture and delivery of up to 100 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines for India and low and income countries

All these developments indicate a positive sign for India regarding the early and abundant availability of the Corona vaccine as when available with the necessary approvals.
