Power companies have decided to extend the power holiday for industries until this month-end.
Discoms have implemented a power holiday for industries from the 8th of this month. After it has lapsed, the power holiday has been extended till month-end.
They say the decision has been taken since the power supply did not get better. Even after the power holiday for industries, the pressure on the grid did not get better.
