He was the brain behind Mamata Banerjee, YS Jagan, and Narendra Modi’s huge wins in state and central elections. He is a master at using social media to influence voters for political gains.
Now he himself wants to join politics and Jan Suraj padayatra is his first step in that direction.
As part of his ‘Jan Suraj’ campaign, political strategist Prashant Kishor embarks on a 3,500 km ‘padayatra’ in Bihar from West Champaran district on Sunday on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary.
The yatra is likely to span between 12-18 months. He wants his padayatra to be projected as a prelude to his entry into politics.
In 2018, Kishor joined the JD(U) before being expelled in 2020 for his public criticism of CM Nitish Kumar.
According to the reports, Kishor will try to reach every panchayat and block during his yatra and will be a part of it till its end without taking any breaks. He will start his journey from Gandhi Ashram in West Champaran, where Mahatma Gandhi, our father of the nation, launched the first satyagraha movement in 1917.
