Telangana CM Revanth Reddy is once again the target of ire for his hasty and brash comments. This time, he has become the target of Jan Suraaj party’s head Prashant Kishor.
In an interview to a national television channel, Prashant Kishor pointed out that Rahul Gandhi must come to Bihar only after apologizing to the Bihar people.
When the anchor asked Prashant Kishor what did Rahul Gandhi say, Prashant Kishor said it was Congress party’s Telangana CM who had spoken cheaply about Biharis.
Prashant Kishor was visibly angry with the comments of Reddy. Incidentally, Reddy had said that it was in the DNA of Biharis to do labour. To give it some context, Prashant Kishor explained that during KCR’s time, he chose bureaucrats and officers from Bihar.
So while hitting out at KCR for having Bihari advisors and officers, Revanth Reddy made a sweeping statement that it was in the DNA of Biharis to do labour.
The Jan Suraaj leader demanded an apology from Revanth Reddy before Rahul Gandhi set foot in Bihar. If this is what they think of Bihar, we are not ready for Rahul Gandhi’s gyan during election campaign, said Prashant Kishor.
Bihar will go to polls in 2026 and all parties are trying to woo one of the most densely populated states. Revanth Reddy’s statement could act against chances of Congress gaining a foothold in Bihar.
