Preparing budget for AP a real challenge!

Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu has began the work on the state budget. The united State has vote on account budget in place prior to elections and in the wake of bifurcation , the vote on account budget was reviewed and divided on the population basis between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to meet their expenditure up to September.Now AP finance department had started the budget preparation. It is a real strenuous job to prepare the budget since the state is having deficit budget.

Yanamala is also waiting for any allocations for AP in Union budget regarding special category status, tax incentives and special package to the backward Rayalaseema and North Coastal Andhra, release of funds for the Polavaram, declared as the national project and the new capital city. And on the other side, major challenge will be getting funds for welfare programmes and poll promises like loan waiver etc. The government is planning to complete the budget by July end.
