Proof of Vote for AP in 2014!

Since the Electronic Voting Machines came in to use in India, there were several doubts over their working. Many accuse that the machines can be tampered and the votes can be directed to any desired person/party. There were demands that they should be replaced by the traditional Ballot papers too. Election Commission finally decided to address this problem.

Electronic Machines will now give away a slip regarding the vote which will contain the voted candidate and party name along with the Voter name and constituency name. However, these Proof of Vote slips will only available in few constituencies in AP. And the exact number will only be decided during the elections time. The election notification is expected to be out in March.
