
The AP High Court dismissed the bail petition of senior IPS officer PSR Anjaneyulu in the evaluation of APPSC Group I Main exams scam. HC also dismissed the bail petition of A2 Datri Madhu.
The High Court directed Anjaneyulu to approach the Trial Court for a two-week intermittent bail, based on health reasons. The HC also ordered the Trial Court to take latest medical reports of Anjaneyulu and decide on his bail petition within two weeks, if Anjaneyulu approaches it.

Meanwhile, the remand of PSR Anjaneyulu has been extended to June 19. His remand ended on June 5. Anjaneyulu was presented in Court on the same day and his remand was extended to June 19.
It is known that the entire APPSC evaluation case is revolving around PSR Anjaneyulu. He was the APPSC secretary during last government’s term. At the time, he gave the contract for evaluation to a private body.

Also, Datri Madhu had revealed that he worked under the directions of Anjaneyulu. It has emerged that PSR Anjaneyulu allotted Rs 20 lakh for food and more than Rs 1 crore in cash was given to Datri Madhu by him.
It is being said that PSR is counter questioning the police during interrogation. Since Anjaneyulu is in remand, he is said to be suffering from health issues, based on which he is seeking bail.
