Quantum Park MoU Signed in Amaravati

The Andhra Pradesh government has announced that it has signed an MoU with IBM, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and L&T regarding setting up of the Quantum Valley Technological Park in Amaravati.

The AP government has decided to open India’s first quantum computing hub in Amaravati. The Valley will be started on January 1, 2026, the government disclosed. It feels that the tie-up will create a quantum ecosystem in the state.

IBM will be providing infrastructure for the Quatum Valley Tech Park. The most powerful IBM 156 cubic ‘quatum system II’ will be made available. Through this, quantum skills, education resources and research opportunities will be provided.

As a part of the tie-up with TCS, holistic quantum computing services, solution services will be provided. It will extend extensive research, network, hybrid networking strategies.

It will develop quantum-enabled applications in fields of health, financial services and other people-centric facilities. TCS will also help in training and educating in the field of quantum computing.

L&T will help out in engineering expertise and execution. The MoU will help the mushrooming of start-ups in the field through extensive network.
