Congress Party vice President Rahul Gandhi once again disappointed the state Congress unit by cancelling his Hyderabad Trip in the last minute. The rally planned from Shamshabad Airport, meeting with Osmania University Students stand cancelled.
The state congress planned to use Rahul’s Hyderabad visit as a platform to the upcoming GHMC elections. They thought that the meeting with OU students will be useful to the party as they are currently disappointed with the ruling TRS government.
According to the new tour itinerary, Rahul Gandhi will start his Kisan Yatra from Nanded, Maharashtra and from there will be reaching to Nirmal in Adilabad. The reasons behind this last minute change are not revealed but some say the party high command felt doing a political rally ahead of Kisan Yatra will not be appropriate.
