Rail Route Confirmed for Amaravati

Union Government has cleared a Railway Route to Amaravati which will enable connect to the Capital from various cities in the country. This Rail Route will not on improve the connectivity but also helps in the development. This track will be of 106 Kilometers long and will cost 2680 Crore.

This line will also ease Traffic Pressure on Vijayawada and Guntur Railway Stations. Those coming to the Capital area can directly come now. However, only One Crore is sanctioned to this project in the current budget. It will be executed in partnership of the state and the Union governments.

The state government should take care of the Land Acquisition and Center will fund for the project. It is estimated that the Rail Route should be complete in 4 years time. One Station is proposed for every Five Kilometers while a terminal will come up near Vaddamaanu.
