Rajinikanth Announces Flawed Political Strategy?

Superstar Rajinikanth had addressed media and the office-bearers of his Rajini Makkal Mandram in Hotel Leela Palace, Chennai bringing clarity over the political future. The Superstar started the proceedings by playing a video clip from December 2017 in which the actor said that he doesn’t have the interest to become the Chief Minister.

“I do not want to mix the party and Government. I will be the head of the party and a compassionate youth will be made the Chief Minister. If I wanted to be the CM, I would have become one in 1995 itself. As the party president, I will question my party’s CM for Good Governance,” he said much to the disappointment of the fans.

He also announced that he will allocate designations for his party members only during the election as most of the members in the existing parties involve in corruption. He promised that 60-65% of the party candidates will be educated and qualified youngsters. And the rest will be honest politicians, bureaucrats, and social workers.

However, experts are skeptical about this plan of Rajinikanth. “Regional Parties survive on the popularity of the leader. If someone wants to vote for Rajinikanth‘s party, that is to see him as the Chief Minister. The concept of remaining as the Party President may not augur well with the party cadre itself,” they opine.
