While BJP showed every interest to include superstar Rajnikanth in NDA, the superstar’s latest gesture sending greetings to AIADMK supremo Jayalalitha after her release from jail, and Jayaa too wrote Thank you letter to Rajni came as a big surprise for BJP.
Like making hay while the sun shines, one colleague and contemporary of Rajnikanth is making the most out of the situation. Tamil senior actor Vijaykanth is now claiming that he will be the future CM of Tamil Nadu as Rajnikanth declined Modi’s offer. This senior hero floated a political party DMDK which has no allaince with either Karunanidhi’s DMK or Jayalalitha’s AIADMK. He is one politician who said that he would remove his moustache if Jayalalitha is proved innocent in the disproportionate assets case.
Now he sees Rajni’s refusal as a great oppurtunity to become the CM of the state, as NDA’s candidate. He is visualising his party as an alternative to the corrupt DMK and AIADMK. Speaking to the two-day meet of district secretaries he cheered them up with his CM’s dreams and urged them to plunge into action and urged the party cadre to reach out to people and prepare for the next elections from now onwards.
