Film-maker Ram Gopal Varma has got a huge shock. He has been sentenced to three months in jail.
The reason for his arrest dates back to 2018 cheque bounce issue. The Andheri Magistrate Court has issued non-bailable warrant to RGV and three months in jail.
The court also ordered that Ram Gopal Varma has to give Rs 3.7 lakh to the opposite party. If he fails to do so, he will have to face jail for another three months, the court said.
In 2018, a man named Mahesh Chandra filed a complaint against Ram Gopal Varma in cheque bounce matter.
Only recently, RGV surprised all with his comments after watching his film Satya for the second time. He had said that he wasted many opportunities given by the industry by making bad films. He added he will make good cinema henceforth.
