Reason For Confusion Around PK – TDP?

The last year, Prashant Kishor along with Nara Lokesh arrived in Vijayawada in a Special Flight and sat with Chandrababu Naidu. That meeting has created a stir in Andhra Pradesh Politics.

Since then, there were reports that Prashant Kishor is helping TDP in devising broader strategies. But then, PK distanced himself from TDP in an interview with a Hindi Channel.

“I met with Chandrababu Naidu through a common friend. I respectfully told him I can not work for TDP because I had quit this space (Political Strategist). I also told him I will not work with TDP or any other party in Andhra Pradesh in the upcoming elections,” PK said.

The video went viral on social media today and on the same day, Andhrajyothy carried a story that PK met Nara Lokesh in Hyderabad and discussed about the Strategy for the upcoming election.

So these are two contrasting sides of the same issue.

Sources say that PK is working for TDP since a few months but could not make it official as he had a clause of not working in any state where I-PAC is working for a predecided period. This is after he parted ways with I-PAC. Hence Prashant Kishor will remain on the sidelines.
