Usually communists are said to be pack of old age politicians who detest technology. But times have changed rapidly and they are falling behind in reaching out to people with traditional means. However with the decreasing popularity level and vote share, they are gearing up to brace up technology.
Communist Party of India’s AP Council has decided that it will launch a newly designed website and are also planning to have accounts in Facebook, Twitter and other social media networks. The party is planning to take its policies and programmes to larger section of people, particularly youth.
The party also recently flagged off a digital campaign vehicle flagged off which is said to be the first among a series of initiatives planned by the party to go fully online. The website and social networking sites will be equipped with a full picture of the party’s activities from time to time.
