With the ACB Special court extending Revanth Reddy’s remand till 29th June, the Kodangal MLA now appealed to the high court for bail. His lawyers filed the bail petition in high court after the session on ACB court.

In the petition, Revanth Reddy alleged that he was cornered in the case as a political vendetta. He also added that he already told the ACB all that he has in relation to this case and nothing more to add. And so he requested to be granted bail immediately.
All the other accused in this case, Uday Simha and Sebastian also filed the bail petition. The bail petition is likely to come up for hearing tomorrow or the day after. Our readers may be reminded that Revanth Reddy and the others are arrested on May 31st on the allegations that they have tried to bribe nominated MLA, Stephenson to vote against the TRS candidate in the MLC elections. The case had changed the dynamics of Telugu politics totally.
