The Telangana BJP has taken on Telangana CM Revanth Reddy for being more invested in the Miss World pageant than issues of national security.
It has to be noted that Revanth Reddy has said during his Jai Hind yatra in Nizampet, Hyderabad, that the country needed a leader like Rahul Gandhi. He further went on to say that Modi was like useless currency or a 1000 rupee note.
Revanth Reddy said had Rahul Gandhi been prime minister, he would have taken inspiration from Indira Gandhi, taken Kali’s path, broken Pakistan into two parts and taken back PoK.
Obviously, this didn’t go down well with the Telangana BJP leaders, who said the CM did not mirror national sentiments. The BJP state spokesperson Subhash said Revanth Reddy was more thrilled appearing beside Miss World.
Even Asaduddin Owaisi was speaking about the dual nature of Pakistan, but the CM is oblivious to the facts and is trying to safeguard his CM’s post, said Subhash.
Revanth Reddy’s claims appear in tune with Pakistan’s propaganda, he said.
Subhash said Reddy seems to be more thrilled about standing next to Miss World and appear in tomorrow’s newspapers than showing solidarity with the nation at a time of heightened tensions with Pakistan.
