
CM Revanth Reddy reviewed the second phase of Metro expansion. The CM has decided to extend the Metro till Future City, a project dear to Revanth Reddy.

In the second phase, a 36.8 km line between Nagole and Shamshabad Airport, a 11.6 km line between Raidurgam and Kokapet, a 7.5 km line between MGBS and Chandrayanagutta, 13.4 km line between Miyapur and Patancheru, 7.1 km line between LB Nagar and Hyatnagar are being planned. A DPR has been sent to the central government for 76.4 km at a cost of Rs 24,269 crore.
The CM gave instructions that they must be prepared to start work as soon as the Center gives clearance.

The CM also directed to plan for a 40 km Metro line between airport and Young India Skill Development Center in Future City. Revanth Reddy said that Future City will be developed in 30,000 acres. As the city’s needs will expand, the CM suggested the Metro to be extended till Mirkhanpet.
