Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, who is currently on a Delhi tour, met TDP’s Union Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu this afternoon. Their meeting drew significant attention on social media.
Getting into details, Revanthr requested the Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu to fast-track the works of Warangal Airport. Until now, Telangana has only one airport, located in Shamshabad.

Recently, Revanth announced that four more airports will be set up in the state, in Warangal, Kothagudem, Ramgundam and Adilabad.
Just a few days ago, the Airports Authority of India (AAI) gave clearance for the construction of Warangal Airport, near Mamnoor. Rs. 205 crore has been sanctioned to acquire over 280.3 acres of land for the airport’s development.

Revanth discussed the construction of these four airports with Ram Mohan Naidu. He requested that the works for Warangal Airport be fast-tracked, prioritizing it as the first preference.
Ram Mohan Naidu assured that the airport works will commence once the land acquisition process is completed and urged the state government to expedite the land acquisition. Regarding other airports, Ram Mohan Naidu promised to explore the possibilities of establishing airports at the proposed locations.

Along with Revanth Reddy, TG Ministers Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, Uttam Kumar Reddy and a few Telangana Congress MPs have attended this meeting.
