Looks like the YSRCP finally realised the pain of character assassination of women. It is known that there have been instances of YSRCP leaders badmouthing women of opposition party.
Incidentally, none of them said sorry. In fact, they stood by the usage of foul language. On Thursday, ex Nagari MLA and YSRCP leader Roja has been busy condemning the irresponsible comments made by Nagari MLA Gali Bhanu Prakash.
The latest update is that Roja has filed a case against Gali Bhanu Prakash. In a television channel clipping, she is heard saying how could Bhanu Prakash stoop down to character assassination of a woman, of a politician, ex MLA and heroine.
She complained that Bhanu Prakash should stick to political drubbing and not indulge in personal comments.
Bhanu Prakash had said that Roja and her brothers were involved in rice and sand diversion. You were living in a rented house for Rs 12,000. Today you have houses in Chennai, Hyderabad, Nagari. Your cheap expressions are known to people, Bhanu Prakash had said.
Roja has taken up the issue seriously and is maintaining that while political barbs are ok, this was Bhanu Prakash crossing the line of decency.
