It is almost certain that Revanth Reddy will be elevated to the position of Telangana TDP President. TDP Supremo Chandrababu Naidu looks like want the party to be a platform for Reddy community in Telangana. It is said that Revanth is trying to rope in former home minister Sabitha Indra Reddy to the party. Revanth and Sabitha are also some relatives.

Sabitha’s son, Karthik Reddy who lost last election for Uppal Parliament recently visited TDP’s Padayatra against the change of design of Pranahitha-Chevella Project and extended his support to the cause. Sources say Sabitha family will join TDP once Revanth Reddy becomes the party President.
Earlier there were rumours she will join TRS and get a cabinet berth but that did not happen. Sabitha was the first woman home minister of the United State during YSR regime. She represented Chevella and Maheshwaram in the past and used to be called as Chevelle Chellemma by YSR. Following YSR’s death, she was even named in several corruption cases too.
