Yesterday, we reported a troubling incident involving popular Telugu YouTuber Praneeth Hanumantu and his friends.
During a live session, they made vile comments about a video featuring a father and his 5-year-old daughter. These comments included disgusting and sexual references, encouraging even pedophile jokes.
Clips from this session quickly went viral, leading to widespread condemnation and public outrage.
Actor Sai Dharam Tej initiated the call for action, tagging Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, and others to ensure these sick-minded YouTubers face consequences.
On his X account, he wrote, “This is beyond gruesome, disgusting, and scary. Monsters like these go unnoticed on the very much utilized social platform doing child abuse in the disguise of so-called Fun & Dank. Child Safety is the need of the hour.”
Soon people, out of disgust and anger, also started tagging government and police authorities and urging them to take strict legal action against these individuals.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy responded to Sai Dharam Tej’s post, stating, “Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention, Sai Dharam Tej Garu. Child safety is our government’s utmost priority. We will look into this incident and take appropriate action.”
In the wake of the backlash, Praneeth Hanumantu issued an apology on social media. However, the public remains unwilling to accept his apology, demanding stronger repercussions for his actions.
