Former minister Sake Sailajanath gave a big shock to Jagan barely six days after joining YSRCP. Speaking to the media in Anantapur, he said Vijayamma was quite active and she should take up the leadership of the party.
Just six days back when he joined the party from Andhra Pradesh Congress, he claimed he joined YSRCP as his thoughts resonated with those of Jagan’s.

Along with him, AICC member and former Anantapur DCC president joined the party, in what looked as a strengthening of the party in Anantapur. Sailajanath actually hinted that many from AP Congress were planning to join YSRCP.
When Sailajanath was asked about the family feud in Jagan’s house at the press meet, he said that he was an ardent fan of YS Rajasekhara Reddy. He added that such developments are hurtful for party cadre and requested a stop must be put at some point.

He said he joined YSRCP to oppose the NDA government that came to power making false promises.
Only recently, Vijayamma has publicly said that her son and daughter-in-law were speaking lies in Saraswati Power issue.

Sailajanath making this comment appears to be divisive at such a crucial time, say YSRCP insiders.
