Vishwak Sen’s Laila had collapsed on Day 1 itself. The Cringe and Vulgar content of the film was rejected by the audience outright. There were never before negative reviews for the film and the talk is even worse.
In a way, there is no other film that garnered so much flak from all quarters in recent times.

Laila is dead and vultures have come down from the sky to feed on the remains.
Sakshi TV has run two programs on the film since yesterday taking credit for the movie’s failure.

One Program is called ‘నోటికొచ్చినట్టు వాగితే… పాతాళానికి తొక్కిపడేస్తాం’ and the another is ‘అసలు గొర్రెలు ఎవరు’.
In one program, the Anchor goes completely poetic and does non-stop praise of Jagan and abuse of the cinema people. The long lecture is as if Jagan Mohan Reddy is a Legendary King who just won a Historic Battle.

In another program, there were ten panelists. One of the panelists was trying to talk about both sides and the Anchor would continuously interrupt and take the discussion sidetrack so that there is no anti-Jagan narrative.
Another panelist who is a YSR Congress spokesperson claims that they have boycotted Ram Charan’s Game Changer as well and that is the reason why that movie was bombed.
Laila collapsed due to its bad content. The so-called Boycott campaign may not have stopped at least ten tickets for the movie.
But then, Sakshi is known for keeping the YSR Congress in La-La land selling interesting fictitious stories like this to keep the cadres motivated.
Laila’s fate would not change even if Vishwak Sen had a whole episode praising Jagan Mohan Reddy in the film.
Yatra 2, a propaganda film made to benefit YSR Congress in the 2024 election could not even recover 5% of its budget. So what happened to YSR Congress’s Support as claimed by Sakshi?
Sakshi also demands an apology by Megastar Chiranjeevi and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan on this issue. Interestingly, the videos of these programs on Sakshi’s Youtube Channel had pictures of Chiru and Pawan Kalyan for Engagement Farming.
