Sasikala’s Experience with Her Jail Mate

Sasikala who is stationed in Parappana Agrahara Prison, Bengaluru and is a very disturbed woman after her request for A class accommodation was turned out. She is refusing to meet anyone and has not spoken much either since her arrest. The only person who tried to talk with her is her roommate in the jail.

The lady is Cyanide Mallika who is convicted of poisoning women for gold on temple premises. It is said that Sasikala ignored Cyanide Mallika’s neighborly overtures on the first evening, though she did smile at her when she tried to speak to her again the next morning.

We are told that she is keeping herself busy with reading several Tamil and English Newspapers to know what is happening in her state. Her loyalist, Edappadi Palaniswamy who had taken oath as the Chief Minister will be meeting Sasikala once he finishes the Floor test in the Assembly on Saturday.
