Sasikala Gets TV in Jail Room

Cyanide Mallika who is in Sasikala’s Room at Parappana Agrahara Prison in Bengaluru is shifted to other room after the Tamil Nadu leader expressed her apprehensions over the safety in the jail. Cyanide Mallika is serving a life sentence after being convicted of poisoning women for gold on temple premises.

Jail authorities are conducting medical tests on Sasikala every day. She is being given English and Tamil Newspapers. Jail authorities have also allowed Television in her room. On the other side, Sasikala had to remain another 13 months in jail if she failed to pay the 10 Crore fine imposed.

The prime target before Palaniswami government is to get Sasikala to a prison in Tamil Nadu very soon. Sasikala had already put up a petition requesting to shift her to a prison in Tamil Nadu citing safety issues in Parappana Agrahara prison in Bengaluru.
