Motor vehicle fatalities have been on a rise in Hyderabad, as is the case with several metro cities across the country.

Now, in a shocking development, a speeding car has crashed into three people who were walking on the road, resulting in three deaths.

Going into the story, in a new viral video on social media, an overspeeding car is recorded in CCTV, ramming into three walkers on the road in the Hydershakot main road area of Hyderabad.

The visuals look very scary as we see two women and a child getting swept away by the speeding car.

The two women and the child were killed on the spot due to the impact of the accident. A mother and child are among the deceased.

Narsingi police have filed a case and further investigation is underway now. They are investigating if the driver was intoxicated during the time of the accident.

Netizens are now calling for strict action against the culprit in this case and also requesting authorities to sensitise the public about the nature of these road accidents.
