SC-Reserved Constituencies: Top Priority Of Chandrababu!

Telugu Desam Party registered disastrous results in the Twenty-eight SC reserved constituencies of Andhra Pradesh. The party won only one seat – Kondepi in Prakasam district.

The increase in Christianity among the voters here and the pastors being in the YSR Congress grip helped the Jagan party big time.

Chandrababu Naidu shifted his focus to these constituencies to break the back of the YSR Congress. The other day, we have seen him appoint incharges for three SC reserved constituencies of the erstwhile Chittoor district in one go.

Now, the focus is on the three SC reserved constituencies – Kodumuru, Gopalapuram, and Chintalapudi.

Roshan who is doing various welfare programs in Chintalapudi in the name of ‘HOPE NGO’ is almost confirmed as the incharge here. The names of former MLA Rajesh, Ramarao, and Dr Anil Kumar also cropped up but Roshan had the wider consensus.

Chandrababu Naidu also shifted focus on to Gopalapuram and Kodumuru. The first round of talks happened with the Senior leaders (Alapati Rajendra Prasad and Bonda Uma for Kodumuru and Nakka Ananda Babu and Gadde Ram Mohan Rao for Gopalapuram) who are overseeing the party affairs in these constituencies.

But then, they could not arrive at a single name for these two constituencies. Another round of meetings will happen in the next few days and TDP wants to announce the incharges for these three constituencies at one go.

Candidates with good backgrounds are being selected. Among the three incharges appointed in the Chittoor district, two are doctors and one is a journalist. The idea is to give a good time for them to get closer to the people of the constituencies by working on the ground and winning the coming elections.
