
Huge search operations have been carried out by Sri Lankan security forces at the Colombo airport following reports of Pahalgam terrorists landing in Colombo.
Indian sources feel that the terrorists who killed 26 Indians at Pahalgam could be in Colombo. The culprits are said to have fleed to Colombo from Chennai.

After India raised doubts, extensive security checks have been carried out at the Colombo airport. India had tipped that 6 suspects were onboard the flight.
Once the Sri Lankan Airlines craft landed in Colombo, the Sri Lankan army and airlines security carried out a check. However, no suspect was found onboard.

India and Pakistan are now engaged in a diplomatic row and Pakistan hasn’t outright denied its role in the Baisaran Valley attack. After India slammed curbs, Pakistan replied with counter action.
India has banned Pakistan flights from using its air space. It has stopped usage of ports. India has also stopped all imports and exports. Mail and parcels have also been stopped.
